iMovie Trailer
This week I made an iMovie trailer that promotes students getting active and playing outside. This trailer could be used to inspire kids of all ages to want to play sports, get exercise, or to get some fresh air. The idea of this video is to be the hook for a health lesson for students. A hook is the beginning of a lesson that captures the students' interests and has them excited to learn more about the topic. The trailer was a cool way to show different sport activities and fun ways for the students to get active at school and at home. I have never used the iMovie app to make a trailer before and I found that it was super fun and relatively easy! I love how the app has different themes for the user to pick from. I also found that settings are easy to customize to make the trailer fit your needs. In my case, the app worked great and allowed me to put in my own pictures and to add my own words to create the story I wanted to get across to my students. I also think this app would even work well for my students to use to create trailers of their own over a lesson. I love how versatile this app is and I will be sure to utilize it in my future classroom!
